Aberdeen-based THREE60 Energy has revealed a “strategic addition” to its engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPC&C) arm.
The energy services group said it had appointed oil and gas industry veteran Garrie Scott as projects director.
Mr Scott boasts more than 40 years with operators, consultancies and tier one contractors in senior positions.
The Robert Gordon University mechanical engineering graduate’s CV includes stints at Amec, Aker Maritime, Wood, KBR, Xodu Group, Canadian Natural Resources and, between February 2019 and June last year, Worley Parsons.
The projects director role at THREE60 had been vacant for several months.
Mr Scott’s appointment comes not long after the firm outlined plans to recruit 50 people over the next year on the back of new global contract wins and predicted growth during this year.
Managing director Alasdair Smith said: “Garrie has successfully delivered some of the industry’s most complex brownfield projects in recent times, while also building long-term relationships in the delivery of modification portfolios.
“He brings drive, enthusiasm and new ideas in everything he does and I’m delighted he has chosen to join the THREE60 Energy team”.
THREE60 Energy delivers asset lifecycle services out of offices in Aberdeen, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Taipei, Bergen, Stavanger, Brisbane and Jakarta.
