Eserv has secured a three-year contract with Neptune Energy that will see its AS-TEG digital twin solution scaled across the company’s global operations.
AS-TEG, developed by the Aberdeen-headquartered digital twin specialist, provides a digital copy of complex assets and enables engineering, integrity and maintenance experts to carry out a significant amount of their traditional work from the desktop onshore, reducing the cost and environmental impacts associated with travelling to site.
The latest deal with Neptune Energy supersedes an existing UK framework agreement between the two, which has been in place since 2020, and which saw the AS-TEG system deployed across five offshore platforms in the UKCS and Dutch Sector of the North Sea.
The new agreement, the value of which was not disclosed, will allow the global Neptune Energy operation to access Eserv’s technology and support services moving forward, the firm said.
It marks further success for the company, which recently secured new office space for its headquarters on Queens Road, Aberdeen following a several new contract wins across the globe.
Increasing interest has also seen Eserv expand its team, bringing its total head count to over 40 as it looks to new markets including the subsea, renewables and nuclear sectors.
