Petrofac is in consultation with staff over up to 65 positions on CNR assets in the North Sea.
It is understood the jobs are in addition to the 160 confirmed by the company earlier this month.
The move comes as many firms in the North Sea look to streamline their costs.
Sparrows Group said yesterday it was in consultation regarding up to 90 positions.
Meanwhile Amec Foster Wheeler plans to reduce its contractor rates by up to 7.5% from next month.
A spokeswoman for Petrofac said: “Petrofac is committed to supporting its customer in securing the long term sustainability of its assets in the North Sea.
“In line with our customer’s planned activity levels and a need for further efficiencies, Petrofac has commenced a consultation process with offshore personnel proposing a reduction in staffing levels.
“We are engaging with those affected and will make every effort to minimise the impact.”
