Aker Solutions and Subsea 7 will deliver the second phase of the Aerfugl project off Norway for Aker BP.
Aker will supply the subsea production system as part of a contract worth £58 million.
The order includes wellheads, subsea trees, satellite structures, control systems, a tie-in module and about 20 miles of umbilicals.
The work starts immediately and involves facilities in Norway, the UK, India, Malaysia and Brazil.
The subsea structures are scheduled for delivery in 2020.
Subsea 7 tie Aerfugl II back to the existing Skarv infrastructure, operated by Aker BP.
Its contract is worth somewhere between £38m and £114.
Project management and engineering will commence immediately at Subsea 7’s offices in Stavanger, Norway.
Fabrication of the EHTF system will take place at Subsea 7’s spoolbase at Vigra, Norway with offshore operations taking place during 2020 and 2021.
