The Russian Energy Minister has said he could meet his Saudi Arabian counterpart before a planned oil producers meeting later this month.
Alexander Novak also said he hoped a “consolidated position” would prevail at the global oil producers’ meeting in Doha.
There they will discuss a possible oil output freeze in order to support weak oil prices.
