Lundin Petroleum said it has been granted approvel by the Norwegian Ministry of Petroleum and Energy for the a transaction between the company and Statoil for an additional 15% interest in the Edvard Greig field.
It comes after the deal was approved at Lundin’s extraordinary general meeting last month.
A spokesman for Lundin said it expects the deal to be completed by June 30th.
