EnQuest’s chief financial officer will sleep rough in London tonight to help raise money for charity.
Jonathan Swinney said donations would go to Action for Children, which works to prevent the root causes of youth homelessness.
He said more than 83,000 young people experience homelessness in the UK every year.
EnQuest chief executive Amjad Bseisu will match the donations, effectively doubling the amount raised from other sources.
Mr Swinney said: “Most of us could not even countenance our children being on the street alone, so please help me to help all those who are much less fortunate than ourselves.”
