Employment law expert Nicola Gray has rejoined Aberdein Considine (AC) as a partner after a seven-year spell at rival legal firm Mackinnons.
Ms Gray, 34, has more than a decade of experience – much of it specialising in the energy and marine sectors – and was previously with Aberdeen-based AC from 2008 to 2013 as a senior solicitor.
She joined Mackinnons, which has offices in the Granite City, Cults and Aboyne, as a partner in June 2013.
As part of AC’s national employment law team, which is led by Sally-Anne Anderson and operates throughout Scotland, Ms Gray will be responsible for developing the practice in the north-east.
AC managing partner Jacqueline Law said: “Nicola is a very well-known and respected employment lawyer in Aberdeen and we are delighted that she has agreed to re-join us.
“She is vastly experienced in advising on business restructures, transfers of undertakings, disciplinary and grievance matters, and redundancy queries, as well as settlement agreements, contract consultations, HR issues and tribunal representation.
“She joins at a busy time as we help both commercial clients and individuals across Scotland navigate the challenges caused by coronavirus.”
Ms Gray studied law at Aberdeen University and Robert Gordon University, and qualified as a solicitor in her first spell with AC.
