The energy sector is being encouraged to come up with future industry solutions in a new competition.
The Energy Realities Competition, launched today by The Economist Intelligence Unit and sponsored by Statoil, is looking to stimulate discussion in three core areas: skills for innovation; diversifying our energy mix; and ensuring access to energy in developing countries.
Students, graduates, business executives and energy experts are invited to contribute their ideas in the form of an essay, video or an infographic by December 23.
Following a review by a panel of international judges the competition will culminate with a 90minute live-streamed webinar debate on March 25.
