A UK firm has landed a £10m deal to provide fittings for a new North Sea project.
Barnstaple-based Parker Hannifin will provide valves and tube connections for the Gina Krog oil and gas platform around 250km west of Stavanger.
The deal will see the Devon firm provide more than 10,000 valves and components for the project, along with 10km of tubing for oil and gas flow instruments at higher working pressures.
“The know-how that Parker has built up in the area of anti-corrosion materials is bringing us considerable success,” said the firm’s Andy Guest.
