Aberdeen firm Muehlhan Surface Protection (MSP) is gearing up for expansion after securing lending facilities worth nearly £4million from Clydesdale Bank.
MSP, part of a German group employing about 2,400 people globally, has traded in the north-east since 2003.
It operates in the energy sector, offering services including surface protection, specialist coatings, insulation, scaffolding, rope access, fabrication, consultancy engineering and inspection.
Its £3.9million credit deal was agreed at the bank’s business and private banking centre in Aberdeen.
MSP director Jim West said: “This significant financial commitment will help us to extend our reach in a sector we have been established in for more than a decade.”
The firm notched up turnover of £9.6million in its last financial year, producing after-tax profits of £890,000.
Annual turnover growth of 20% is targeted, which is expected to create up to 120 jobs.
