Medical services firm Capita Health and Wellbeing has promoted its marketing and sales director to lead its international health unit.
Janette Hiscock becomes the managing director of the occupational health specialists’ international division, supplying oil majors and international contractors with services such as offshore support and expert advice, emergency response, training, health and safety solutions, drug and alcohol screening and wellbeing strategy for employees.
Hiscock joined Capita in 2013 from her previous role as client management director with Aviva, where she was responsible for corporate accounts and strategic partnerships across the insurer’s health business as well as for the creation and development of the health and risk consultancy practice.
“I’m delighted to be leading a team that has a huge impact on our clients’ greatest asset – its people,” Hiscock said.
“We are entering an exciting phase in occupational health with new technologies and processes being introduced to enhance level of care and quality of services.”
Hiscock takes over the post following the departure from the company of its current director, Ronan Jennings.
