Oil industry firm Lux Assure is to step up its international presence after striking new sales agreements in North America.
The Aberdeen-based firm, which provides oil and gas asset integrity and corrosion management, will work alongside Canadian Corr Science and Rysco Corrosion Services to strengthen its ties in the area.
The move comes in the wake of the firm’s recent deal with Houston-based Brown Corrosion to act as agents in the USA.
“In order to meet the growing demand for our products and services in North America, it was essential to expand our operations,” said chief executive Charles Cruickshank.
“Working with such well-established companies to enable us to introduce and develop our ground-breaking technology and services is fantastic, and we’re delighted to have them on side.
“North America is a major market within the global oil and gas industry, and having a presence there is a testament to the demand for what we offer.”
