Aberdeen engineering firm Plexus has landed a £600,000 deal to provide its services to a new offshore project in Morocco.
The wellhead engineering specialists will provide its Pos-Grip system for an exploration well being drilled by Galp.
It marks the company’s first move into the North African country as it looks to raise its profile outside the North Sea.
“Today’s contract with Galp for an exploration well offshore Morocco demonstrates our core wellhead equipment and services rental business continues to win new orders with new customers and in new territories,” said chief executive Ben van Bilderbeek.
