Aberdeen-based subsea specialists Ashtead Technology has secured a sales distribution agreement for sales of imaging equipment to the oil and gas markets in the UK and Singapore.
The deal with Sound Metrics Corporation covers Didson and Aris ultra high definition imaging solar systems for deoplyment from vessels, ROVs, AUVs and for use by divers in various industries including, oil and gas, military, hydro-energy, exploration, dam and bridge construction and maintenance.

“These Sound Metrics systems provide higher resolution images than anything else currently on the market and can be used on specialist offshore projects.
“We have recognised a significant increase in requests for this level of sonar system in recent months as more of our customers become aware of the advantages of using this advanced technology in the subsea environment.”
