Offshore support company Viking SeaTech has secured a string of contracts that will run until 2016.
The contracts, worth $10million, will see the company carry out work in the UK and West Africa, working closely with operators and associated contractors to prepare and direct rig moves by supplying equipment from its bases in Aberdeen and Takoradi.
Mike Main, managing director for Viking SeaTech in Europe and Africa, said: “We welcome these deals after a substantial investment of our time and effort this year. Every part of our business has pulled together to offer an integrated services package of great benefit to our clients.”
The agreements follow a previous announcement of £55million worth of contracts for work in the Asia Pacific region in June. Projects under this contract are under way in Australia, India, Indonesia, Philippines and the Timor Sea.
