Oil major Chevron has appointed a new president of its operations in Asia.
Stephen Green will succeed Melody Meyer who has decided to retire after 37 years of service with the company.
Green is currently corporate vice president of policy, government and public affairs will oversee Chevron’s exploration and production activities in nine countries across the Asia-Pacific
region.
John Watson, Chevron chief executive, said: “Steve’s deep and proven operating experience, especially in the Asia-Pacific region, makes him eminently qualified to assume this key leadership role at this pivotal time for our business across the region.”
