Portlethen-based oil services firm CETCO has appointed Chris Higgins as the company’s new projects engineering manager as the company sets its sights on substantial expansion in the Middle East, Europe and North Africa.
Higgins, formerly project manager with Lloyds Register, has held a host of senior management roles, including chief engineer at Seafab.
He joins as the company looks to increase revenues in the MENA region by more than £8million over the next two years.
“Chris’ background and experience make him a quality asset to the business,” said Paul McAlister, area manager at CETCO Oilfield Services
“We brought him on board to help us emulate the successes we have seen in South East Asia, where we have seen revenues upwards of £30million per annum with plans to target the significant market potential across European and MENA regions.
“Increasing our team with quality people is essential due to our ever expanding client base and the impressive level of work we have planned already for 2013.”
