Offshore technology provider AGR Enhanced Drilling has appointed two new regional vice presidents.
Ruud Van Der Meer will take charge of Enhanced Africa Commonwealth of Independent States (ACIS) activity, while Chis French will preside over the Norwegian firm’s Asia Pacific operations.
Meer, formerly a business development manager for Europe and Africa at Schlumberger, and manager with Weatherford and Expro, brings in 30 years of experience in the oil industry, including managing pressure drilling and underbalanced drilling businesses.
French previously worked for National Oilwell Varco, along with senior oil-industry positions in Thailand and China and a global technical role based in Malaysia.
“I’m delighted to be able to welcome two such highly experienced individuals to the Enhanced Drilling team,” David Hine, Enhanced Drilling’s executive vice president said.
“I’m confident that both Ruud and Chris will relish the challenge of heading up two such busy, exciting regions for us and help grow our business there in line with our strategy.”
