Spex Group said yesterday it had strengthened its management team with a new director.
The Aberdeen-based provider of technology services said Sylvia Halkerston had joined the board after retiring as human resources director at Macphie of Glenbervie.
Mrs Halkerston, also chairwoman of the Scotland Food and Drink Skills Academy, said: “I am pleased to join the board of directors at such an exciting time for the company. I believe that the potential is immense and I look forward to being part of its continued growth.”
Spex chief operating officer Nadir Mahjoub said: “We are delighted to welcome Sylvia to the board of directors. Sylvia’s depth of knowledge and extensive experience will be a great asset to us and essential for Spex moving forward.”
