Aberdeen-based oil and gas services company Operational Excellence (Opex) has appointed a new operations director to its 30-person strong fleet.
Paddy Mallan, former production operations director at Amec, will be responsible for Opex’s range of prevention services to client operators.
Mallan brings in more than 30 years of experience in the industry, having worked for Petrofac and Wood Group Engineering in various executive positions.
“Paddy will play a pivotal role in further developing our business strategy and vision, underpinning our growth plans,” said Jamie Bennett, Opex chairman.
“His experience in operations and maintenance management both on and offshore, gives him a unique understanding of our business and makes him an extremely valuable addition to our team as we enter the next stage of our expansion.”
