Maersk Training has appointed a new general manager in Aberdeen.
John Abate will take over the leadership role from his current post with software giant Amazon.
John said: “Developing the customer base on the back of a strong brand reputation and excellent service solutions is my key focus. Our operation here in Aberdeen has been growing steadily and we have a very keen awareness as to what the market is looking for in terms of our providing an added value service. I am looking forward to getting out into the business community and developing long term relationships.”
In his career, the businessman has also managed multiple firms on behalf of BBC Dragon’s Den panellist Shaf Rasul.
Stuart Cameron, UK managing director at Maersk Training, added: “John will be a great addition to Maersk Training. His experience and expertise with the commercial sector is very impressive and I am delighted to have him on board to promote our solutions into a wider market place.”
