Chevron has appointed a new corporate vice president to its company.
Jeanette Ourada will take over the position from Matthew Foehr on April 1 following his retirement from the company after 33 years.
In her new role, Ms Ourada will lead corporate-wide accounting, financial reporting and analysis and internal controls.
Additionally she will oversee Finance Shared Services, the organization she has led since July 2013.
John Watson, chief executive, said: “Jeanette has proved to be an effective and versatile leader.
“The breadth of her financial experience, both inside and outside the energy sector, makes Jeanette ideally qualified to assume this important leadership role within our global finance organization.”
The 49-year-old joined Chevron as part of the Unocal acquisition in 2005 and has held a number of leadership roles within the finance organisation.
