Aker Solutions has made a number of changes to its senior positions.
Tore Sjursen will become executive vice president for operational improvement and risk management from April 1.
Meanwhile Knut Sandvik will replace Sjursen as head of the company’s maintenance, modifications and operations business.
Sjursen will be based in Oslo and will be responsible for the corporate centre functions including health, safety and environment and enterprise risk management.
Chief executive Luis Araujo, said: “Tore is an industry veteran with a long track record at Aker Solutions,’ said Aker Solutions’ Chief Executive Officer Luis Araujo.
“His experience, drive and knowledge will be a huge asset as we strengthen our focus on operational excellence and quality improvements across the business.
“I’m very pleased that he has agreed to take on this critical new role.”
Both Sandvik and Sjursen will report to the chief executive as members of the executive management team.
