ROVOP has strengthened its team with the appointment of a new commercial director to its senior executive team and board.
Euan Tait will join the company from professional services firm KPMG having spent his career in a number of roles within corporate finance and oil and gas.
Steven Gray, ROVOP chief executive, said: “Euan brings more than 10 years of commercial experience to ROVOP. His network, knowledge of the industry and blend of energy and structured thinking will undoubtedly strengthen our senior team and add value for our clients.”
Meanwhile ROVOP’s previous commercial director, Moray Melhuish, has moved into a full-time client facing role as business development director.
Last month ROVOP announced it had won more than £2.5million worth of new contract wins in the last month across the oil, gas and offshore wind markets.
The Aberdeen company said the contracts had been netted from both its office in the city as well as its Houston base.
The work scopes for the projects, which extend into the third quarter of next year, include inspection, repair and maintenance (IRM) on several major North Sea operators’ platforms.
