Oil and gas consultants Io, has made three senior appointment as the firm establishes itself in the Unites States.
The firm, an independent venture backed by GE Oil & Gas and McDermott, has appointed Jeff Measamer as general manager of Americas, Ed Hernandez as vice president of operations and Jerry Toth as business development director.
Measamer joins from McDermott International, where he was engineering director for Americas Europe and Africa, overseeing subsea and facilities engineering across the regions. He has over 30 years’ experience as a multi-discipline manager.
Herandez joins with over 20 years of experience on numerous international and domestic projects in the various energy sectors from oil and gas production and pipelines to power generation. He was most recently responsible for developing new business in Latin America for greenfield oil and gas production projects both offshore and onshore.
Toth has over 20 years of experience in sales, marketing and has been based in Houston for a number of years successfully increasing sales for subsea systems, processing equipment and integrated solutions at major key accounts in North America.
Io chief executive Dan Jackson said: “Houston is an important strategic location for us and we look forward to being closer to our existing clients in the Americas and to supporting new clients in the region.”
The firm’s Houston office was set up in the summer of 2015.
