On 22 and 23 November, Manchester Central will be playing host to specialist suppliers, movers and shakers across the oil and gas industry. The event is the EIC Connect Oil & Gas conference and exhibition hosted by the Energy Industries Council (EIC), which helps companies working in the energy industries to maximise business opportunities in the UK and overseas.
Global opportunities for the energy supply chain
This two-day, high-profile event includes operator and contractor briefings, one-to-ones between industry suppliers and buyers, and informative conference sessions.
More than 20 industry leaders and senior UK government representatives will be participating in the event, including the Rt Honourable Greg Hands, MP, Minister of State for Trade and Investment, whose opening address will give the government’s perspective on the industry.
Operator and contractor briefings
EIC Connect Oil & Gas is being supported by major global operating and contracting firms – ranging from Amec Foster Wheeler, Saudi Aramco and SBM Offshore, through to Siemens and WorleyParsons. Each company has kindly agreed to lead sought-after sessions to update delegates on key projects, explain what services are required for their developments, and provide details of their procurement procedures for suppliers.
One-to-one appointments
We are delighted to be able to offer over 300 one-to-ones for delegates to meet with operators and contractors taking part in the event. These interactions are an excellent opportunity for UK companies to liaise directly with decision makers and to potentially make new business connections.
Conference sessions
Our 2016 conference has been specifically tailored to the current market: so it will cover how companies can best handle the challenges, but also capitalise on the plethora of active and future projects around the world. It will look at prospects on the UK Continental Shelf and in neighbouring Eastern Europe, as well as further afield in Russia, the Middle East, Asia Pacific and South America. And because the EIC recognises the needs of businesses, both large and small, the sessions will cater for everyone.
Exhibition
One of the best ways the supply chain can start a dialogue with operators and contractors is by exhibiting innovative products and by showing how their expertise can not only be exported but can really add value to projects. Over 40 UK companies will therefore showcase what they have to offer.
EIC Connect Oil & Gas is the only event in this year’s calendar for the UK supply chain: can you afford to miss it?
