On 23 May in Abu Dhabi, the EIC Connect Oil & Gas UAE 2017 conference and exhibition will bring together major Gulf energy companies with the UK supply chain to explore how they can work together on projects in the region.
This high-profile event, the only one of its type in the Middle East, will include operator and contractor briefings, one-to-one appointments, an exhibition and conference sessions.
Up to 20 leading oil and gas companies are set to take part with UAE stated-owned giant ADNOC, and leading energy firms Dragon Oil, GE Oil & Gas, and KNPC having already confirmed their participation. Invited companies also include BP, PDO, Saudi Aramco and Shell.
Operator and contractor briefings
Each of the Middle East energy companies taking part in the event will lead sought-after briefing sessions to update delegates on their key projects in the region, explain what services are required for their developments and provide details of their procurement procedures for suppliers.
One-to-one appointments
There are over 200 one-to-one appointments available for delegates to meet with the operators and contractors participating in the event. These private meetings are an excellent opportunity for UK companies to liaise directly with decision makers from the region’s major players to discuss how they can work together on their upcoming projects.
Conference sessions
The 2017 conference programme has been tailored to the current Middle East market: it will cover the challenges and opportunities specific to the region, such as how companies can adapt their offering to serve the booming sour gas market and what tools the major Gulf companies are looking for to support their enhanced oil recovery programmes. The event will also take an in-depth look at how the NOCs are restructuring and what this means for the supply chain.
Exhibition
As the region’s energy demand continues to rise rapidly, the oil and gas industry is thriving in the Middle East and operators and contractors are looking to UK companies for innovative products and services which can help them to provide safe, reliable and cost efficient energy solutions.
One of the best ways the supply chain can start a dialogue with the procurement specialists at EIC Connect Oil & Gas UAE 2017 is by exhibiting their products and showing how their expertise can really add value to projects.
Commenting on the event, EIC CEO Stuart Broadley said, ‘EIC Connect Oil & Gas UAE is the only event which allows UK energy suppliers to meet face to face with major Gulf operators and contractors to discuss their active projects and opportunities. For those UK companies wishing to expand into the buoyant Middle East oil and gas market this event is a must.’
