To support and encourage further collaboration in the oil and gas industry, particularly in the field of integrity management, Plant Integrity Management Ltd (PIM), is holding an event to consider issues affecting integrity management in the North Sea.
‘To integrity and beyond, setting new standards in uncertain times’ will take place tomorrow, Thursday 22 March 2018, at Jurys Inn Aberdeen and is expected to attract more than 50 delegates. The event will give companies the opportunity to hear from a range of experts on integrity management issues, all linked by the common theme of uncertainty.
Steven Plant, managing director of PIM explained, “There is no doubt that there is an air of cautious optimism in the oil and gas industry but on the whole the mood remains uncertain. We have all heard talk about the need for collaboration and this has occurred with varying degrees of success.
As part of the supply chain, we decided it was time to step up. In the spirit of true collaboration, we have organised a free event to get people together to discuss the integrity management issues which are affecting the North Sea today.
“We have brought together a wealth of integrity management knowledge and will deliver talks based around the central themes of uncertainty and integrity management. Our speakers will cover topics including cessation of production, corrosion resistant alloys and, of course, collaboration.
“We expect the content to provoke some lively debate and welcome the opportunity to engage with representatives from operators and supply chain companies alike. We hope that this will be a constructive event for all who attend.”
