Genny Hire is a well-established plant hire company which has continued to develop and expand since first opening its doors in 2008.
The business started operating from a farm shed with only a handful of generators.
Twelve years on, and after rapidly outgrowing our premises at Murcar, we made the move to bigger premises at Craigearn Business Park, Kintore.
We continue to invest time and money in our fleet to keep up with the ever-changing requirements from our customers.
Our fleet now includes more than 100 machines ranging from rig-safe, 15 kVA right through to 1,000 kVA diesel generators and high-spec, rig-safe led lighting towers, which are ideal as the darker nights draw in over winter.
We also offer full distribution boards and cables and fuel tanks as well as highly specialised power distribution units, MG sets and 690V transformers.
Our hire packages are competitively priced and tailored to suit the individual requirements of each customer, meaning that the customer gets exactly what they need, when they need it, backed up with our round the clock technical support, 365 days a year.
There’s no denying that we have faced some difficult times, with the passing of director Peter Emslie in 2019 and 2020’s Covid-19 pandemic.
However, with the dedication and commitment of our staff and Peter’s can-do attitude still present, Genny Hire has remained one of the market leaders in temporary power solutions.
With customers at the heart of the business, Genny Hire has been here throughout the Covid-19 pandemic to support our valued and loyal customers to meet their requirements.
Like most companies out there, we have had to adapt the way we work together as a team, to ensure we always keep our staff and customers safe. Despite the lockdown measures put in place, we have continued to support the oil and gas service, marine and agriculture sectors. We have also supported the local hospitality sector by providing power for their new outdoor spaces.
Despite the challenges we are all currently facing, we continue to expand as a company and settle into our premises.
We look forward positively to the future and to tackling any challenges 2021 may bring head on, whilst still offering the high level of service our customers have come to expect from us.
When we say we have the power to deliver, we really do mean it.
