Viper Innovations is a UK based high-tech innovative and disruptive SaaS model business serving the subsea oil and gas, rail and other industrial sectors.
At a time when many businesses have been negatively affected by the global pandemic, Viper has continued to pursue its business strategy and is thankful to have remained in a strong position for rapid growth and international expansion.
Part of its growth strategy was to improve connections and opportunities in some of Viper’s core subsea oil and gas markets.
Accordingly, the company recently announced the appointments of three new international consultants based in Norway, China and Australia. These are in addition to Brazilian consultant Diego Baraldi, who was appointed in 2020.
Viper has already enjoyed much global success with more than a third of revenues coming from international sales in 2021. The company now aims to build on this success with the support of their new international consultants, who will play a key role in their respective local markets to aid the delivery of Viper’s ambitious international growth strategy.
The new team have been selected for their wealth of skills and experience in the subsea oil and gas industry, in addition to their expert local market knowledge and industry connections.
“In line with our strategic plans to grow Viper’s international presence, I’m delighted to welcome our new International business development consultants to the team. Their significant industry experience and local market knowledge will certainly enhance our presence in Viper’s key markets across the globe,” said Viper International subsea sales manager James Carnegie.
“The international support will provide local assistance for Viper’s existing customers as well as helping more operators in applications where V-LIM and V-LIFE can help recover the electrical integrity of subsea circuits suffering from low insulation resistance.
“These faults often lead to loss of power or communications to subsea equipment and have the potential to halt production from subsea wells. Viper’s award-winning products can avoid subsea intervention, helping to reduce cost and maximise production efficiencies.”
Viper’s technology and products maximise the operational life of mission critical controls and electrical distribution equipment used in harsh environments. They do this through integrity monitoring and in the case of subsea applications, remote remediation.
This provides the ability to proactively monitor subsea electrical systems and the ability to recover failing electrical systems by the application of V-LIFE, potentially preventing the need for costly intervention and fault-finding operations.
