Renewable energy provider SkyPower has signed four power purchase agreements with the Indian state of Telangana to build and operate a total of 200MW of solar energy projects.
It brings the total number of solar projects agreed by the company in India to 400MW, with the other 200MW planned for the state of Madhya Pradesh, which is due to start later this year.
SkyPower president and chief executive officer Kerry Adler said: “India is a world leader in deploying solar, not only with its significant targets but through its very actions,”
