
Amec Foster Wheeler has won a nuclear deal with UK Ministry of Defence (MOD).
The service firm will supply independent nuclear propulsion safety and technical advice for the Royal Navy’s submarine flotilla.
The contract, worth £75million, will be delivered by a specialist team at Amec Foster Wheeler.
Clive White, president of Amec Foster Wheeler’s Clean Energy Europe business, said: “This contract consolidates Amec Foster Wheeler’s position as the largest provider of independent safety assurance in the UK nuclear sector.”
