GE Renewable Energy has completed construction of 30 turbines for Myrtah Energy.
The work was carried out on the company’s Aspari I windfarm in south-east India.
The wind farm is the first of a three-phase project which will total 200MW.
It is now ready for decommissioning.
The remaining two phases of work by GE are expected to completed in the coming months.
The project is in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
It is also expected to feature GE’s new digital windfarm energy forecasting system.
The application will use weather forecasting data to generate more accurate financial modelling to help predict the next day’s grid supply and demand fluctuations.
GE chief executive of the onshore wind business Anne McEntee said: “The Aspari project is a good example of the added value that comes from combining multiple hardware and software technologies to better match specific conditions across a large site.”
