The Polish anti-monopoly watchdog has ruled that state owned PGE can buy up energy giant EDF’s in country assets.
But to limit competition worries PGE must sell all the energy generated by the Rybnik Power Plant in 2018-2021
According to the watchdog, virtually all current produced by EDF Polska, which was sold to wholesale customers, will be placed on the stock exchange.
None of the entrepreneurs interested in buying this energy will be discriminated against – said the President of UOKiK, Marek Niechiał.
