The Danish wind developer, Ørsted, will use £1.12billion in green securities to develop new and current wind projects.
The money raised from this release of bonds will also be used to further energy efficiency, bio conversion and energy storage.
Formerly known as DONG Energy, Ørsted have said the bonds are listed as a £446million green hybrid capital security and a £669million green senior unsecured bond.
Both green securities will extend and refinance existing debt held by the company.
