The first topside has been installed for what will become the world’s largest windfarm.
Orsted’s Hornsea One project, 75 miles off the Yorkshire coast, is expected to be operational in 2020.
The Dutch energy company estimates the 174-turbine wind farm it will be able to power over a million UK homes.
Orsted has released images of the first topside being installed for the project.
It is the first of four offshore substations to be installed at the site.
