Wave and tidal power developers from the UK are being invited to join a mission to New Zealand.
The British High Commission in New Zealand is hosting the event covering marine energy and clean technologies during April.
It will coincide with the AWATEA (Aotearoa Wave and Tidal Energy Association) conference at Te Papa, the National Museum of New Zealand in Wellington.
Orkney has become a centre of wave and tidal power development with firms from the UK, Europe and further afield testing their devices at the European Marine Energy Centre.
Some funding (about £1,000) will be available to research and development participants who wish to pursue a commercially-orientated research and development collaboration with New Zealand (on a first-come basis).
The week will include a UK-NZ workshop in Wellington, where participants may make their own presentations and enter into personal discussions on potential collaborations with New Zealand organisations.
