Aberdeen’s hydrogen programme is being supported by the launch of a new tutorial for drivers refuelling in the city.
Developed by Aberdeen City Council as part of the Hydrogen Transport Economy 2 Project, it is part funded by the Interreg North Sea Region Programme within the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
The film shows how to refuel hydrogen vehicles using footage from the Aberdeen City Hydrogen Energy Storage (ACHES) Station in Cove.
Philip Bell, Aberdeen City Council hydrogen spokesperson, said: “This new film is primarily aimed at drivers of hydrogen vehicles but will also have a wider appeal for anyone interested in the ACHES facility.
“It is a requirement that any new drivers using the station must have watched this video. It is particularly vital that our partner organisations with vehicles in car pools including the NHS, Scottish Environmental Protection Agency (SEPA) and Co-Wheels Car Club are trained to ensure safe and efficient use of our hydrogen vehicles at all times.”
