The energy regulator has warned supplier Solarplicity that it will start the process of revoking its licence if it does not keep up with payments to Feed-in-Tariff (FIT) generators.
In May, Ofgem imposed a provisional order requiring Solarplicity to pay any outstanding money to generators by May 16.
This was achieved but the company has recently failed to make other FIT payments as part of the plans, pushing Ofgem to consider confirming the order and keeping it in place until it is satisfied with Solarplicity.
If the supplier continues to fail to meet Ofgem’s requirements, it risks having its licence revoked.
