The links between Scotland and Norway are long standing.
With both countries having important oil, gas, hydro and fish reserves, there are plenty of opportunities for the two nations to work together.
Aberdeen is at the forefront of this relationship and there has been an influx of Norwegian companies looking at locating themselves in the city, says Buccleuch Property.
One location currently in demand within the Granite City is the Aberdeen Energy and Innovation Parks, which have recently benefited from a strategic investment of more than £15million after the formation of a partnership between Buccleuch Property and Scottish Enterprise in 2010.
It is aiming to boost collaboration and the working environment across the two parks, at the southern gateway to Energetica, Scotland’s 30-mile energy corridor.
Among those recently taking up offices at the parks are Norwegian oil and gas engineers Linjebygg Offshore, who have taken a five-year lease.
Aberdeen and Grampian Chamber of Commerce has also pre-let 4,780sq ft and will take occupation of part of the facility in July.
A further 7,000sq ft of Grade A office space is available to lease within the new building, which includes a focal hub element to provide amenity space for the parks, including cafe, breakout and meeting space.
