Aberdeen-based management system firm BusinessPort announced yesterday at All-Energy a contract worth hundreds of thousands of pounds with Technip’s offshore-wind unit.
The deal, its first in the renewables sector, comes as the firm predicts at least 100% turnover growth this year, following a 30% growth to £2million last year. To meet demand, it also increased staffing by 33% to 40 last year and says it will grow by a further 30% this year.
Its contract with Technip Offshore Wind will see it create a business-management setup using its “agility” system. This combines document management, compliance and risk management and allows staff to view their individual role within a process, connecting to relevant documents, data and applications.

BusinessPort clients include Total, Petrofac, Babcock Marine, Subsea 7, Nexen, Lloyd’s Register, EnQuest and Siemens.
