A developer hoping to create one of the world’s largest offshore windfarms in the Moray Firth promised yesterday to listen to the concerns of consultees.
A spokeswoman for Beatrice Offshore Windfarm Ltd said: “The consultation period is the right forum for the statutory consultees to make their concerns known.
“We’ve got a good track record of listening to feedback and we will continue to do so through the project and take these concerns into the decision-making process. We will listen carefully.”
So far 12 organisations have responded to the development proposal. Others, such as the Ministry of Defence, have yet to give their opinion. Scottish ministers are expected to make a decision on the offshore windfarm at the start of next year.
