The rapid transition under way in energy means that now more than ever the sector must grasp the opportunities presented by technology.
The energy transition was already in full motion before the coronavirus pandemic struck in 2020. The global health crisis has accelerated change across the energy spectrum, both from an operational point of view through to supply chain and consumption patterns.
As the energy mix changes, digital transformation can drive an efficiency revolution in existing systems, whilst also helping to integrate emerging sustainable solutions, and scale up the new sources of energy that are key to a net zero future.
To benefit from this exciting change, companies must harness advanced technologies to reinvent their products and services, accelerate operational efficiency and spur growth across their businesses.
As leaders of the global energy conversation, we at Energy Voice are providing a platform for the innovators at the cutting edge of the digital and technological transformation to provide strategic direction to the industry.
With this in mind, we are very proud to announce the launch of our inaugural Virtual Tech Showcase.
The event, on February 23 and 24, will bring together our partners and audience in conversation about how to accelerate transformational change based on clear demand-led priorities.
Across three keynote sessions you will hear about the technologies shaping the future energy mix with powerful insights on advances in the upstream, subsea and low carbon tech spaces.
Our esteemed programme of technology and insight partners will provide the essential information you need to maximise ROI, drive growth and reduce costs.
The Tech Showcase will be presented via our virtual event platform, providing the ideal forum for you to listen to, learn from and share ideas with the tech leaders shaping the future of energy.
The focus of the morning session on February 23 is on upstream oil and gas. The session will kick off with a scene-setting presentation from insight partner Rystad Energy on current and future trends. Following Rystad will be presentations from tech partners Baker Hughes, Equinor, CAN Group and Onboard Tracker. The speakers will then join a panel discussion on the theme moderated by OGUK.
The afternoon session on February 23 will delve into subsea developments. Wood Mackenzie will open this session before tech presentations from James Fisher Offshore, Stats Group and Xergy. The speakers will then convene for a panel discussion led by the OGTC and featuring Neptune Energy.
On February 24 the event’s focus shifts to the energy transition, with a focus on clean energy tech. Xodus Group will open the session with some insight, before presentations from tech partners SSE Renewables, Achilles and the Technology Leadership Board. This will be followed by a panel debate on tech and energy transition moderated by Aberdeen Renewable Energy Group.
Each session will have interactive elements such as audience Q&A and polls, and attendees will also be able to engage directly with the event partners in breakout rooms and virtual booths to find out more about their products and services.
The Virtual Tech Showcase is free to attend. Visit virtualtechshowcase.com to register and join the conversation on the digital transformation of energy.
