Plans to erect a wind turbine at a former landfill site on the outskirts of Aberdeen could be rejected by city councillors on Thursday of next week.
Planning officials have recommended refusal of the green energy scheme at Tarbothill, off the A90 near Blackdog.
The application for the 91ft structure from FCC Environment is for land no longer used for waste disposal. A report to the development management sub-committee says 11 letters of objection have been submitted by local residents.
Belhelvie Community Council has also voiced its opposition to the scheme.
Among concerns are adverse visual impact, and that it could have implications for MoD radar and hence air traffic safety.
