This year’s Scottish Highland Renewable Energy Conference (SHREC) is being held next week.
Energy Minister Fergus Ewing will deliver the keynote speech to more than 200 delegates representing the biggest developers, organisations and communities involved in renewable energy.
The conference takes place at the Drumossie Hotel, Inverness, on Thursday, April 18.
This year’s event will focus on the grass roots of renewables, particularly on how communities, crofters, farmers and others at the heart of the land can maximise their involvement.
The event is organised by law firm Harper Macleod, whose energy and natural resources specialists were recently named energy team of the year at the Scottish Legal Awards.
David Bone, head partner of the team, said: “SHREC has become the destination for everyone who wants to contribute to a powerful future. This year’s event will focus on the issues affecting the people at the heart of the land and whether you’re a major player or a crofter looking to become part of the renewables revolution there will be information to help you achieve your goals.”
