All-Energy is providing a showcase for renewable energy firms from across the north and north-east.
More than 70 companies are in the Highlands and islands energy zone at the show, with the European Marine Energy Centre (Emec) in Orkney holding centre stage.
Firms from Aberdeenshire will also be highlighted, with seven organisations promoting the shire’s renewables potential.
The focus will be on key assets such as the Peterhead energy hub, Aberdeen harbour and Westhill, where one of the world’s largest concentrations of subsea engineering capability is located.
Highlands and Islands Enterprise’s (HIE) director of energy and low carbon, Calum Davidson, said: “This year is extra special, with the celebration of Emec’s 10th birthday.”
The test centre is one of the few grid-connected test centres for both wave and tidal energy devices.
He added: “The level of interest that the facility continues to attract from all corners of the earth is hugely significant, with strategic agreements in place with a number of other organisations worldwide to export their knowledge.”
Morag McCorkindale, chief operating officer of Aberdeen Renewable Energy Group (Areg), said Aberdeen City and Shire’s leading role in hydrogen fuel-cell transport will be displayed at the show.
She said: “More than 30 local businesses and organisations will showcase their energy innovation, skills and supply chain solutions at the City and Shire’s pavilion.”
Aberdeenshire Council will also underline the importance of support to farmers in developing renewables projects, with a number of specialist firms present on its stand at the event.
