An egg company has gone green after installing a 200kw solar energy.
Sunrise Eggs, near Loughborough, was fitted 800 Yingli 250Wp panels expected to produce 160,000 units of electricity.
The panels , installed by SunConnex partner Salop Energy, are expected to save the firm around around £32,000 per year.
“The selection of the Yingli modules was a pivotal decision and SunConnex was instrumental during discussions with our client,” said Salop director Gareth Jehu.
“This support helped us to focus on our specialized design for the Sunrise Eggs site and it is great to see how happy everyone is with the result.”
