Offshore energy services firm CWind has secured a two year extension to its deal to support Siemens’ turbine projects.
The firm, which provides technician services to the turbine manufacturer, has already supported a number of key wind projects, including the London Array.
The deal will see them continuing to support Siemens with onshore pre-assembly, construction and installation of wind turbines on projects across the UK.
“I think we have a good team of people that are competent, proactive and with good initiative,” said CWind’s Lars Hansen.
“Working with Siemens has been straightforward throughout, because they have procedures and systems in place that make it clear to suppliers like us, what is expected, enabling and facilitating our teams.”
