Wave Energy firm, Aquamarine Power, has left a string a debts totalling £11million, after failing to attract a buy-out.
The Edinburgh-based company ceased trading in November.
According to its latest filing with Companies House, the firm owes Scottish Enterprise £6.2million
ABB Ventures is owed £2.5million, the European Marine Energy Centre (EMEC) is owed £1.3million and SSE Ventures is owed £1.27million.
Aquamarine, which had a 50-strong team at its peak, folded with just 14 people on its roster and £612,000 in assets.
The firm had pioneered the Oyster wave energy converter.
It had plans to install its third Oyster device before financial pressure forced the firm to call in administrators.
